From before I could walk, my dad has had me afloat in everything from narrowboats, sailing dinghies and canoes. Since then I have pursued a career in sailing related businesses. He was thee inspiration for completing a Naval Architecture degree. I have since had the opportunity to compete at international level, work with America's Cup and Volvo Ocean Race teams and sail on some simply amazing yachts. And now I pay a little back as a trainee Helm at Arran Lifeboat station. Thanks Dad.
